Office of Migrant Services (OMS) Farm Labor CentersUnder contract with the California Department of Housing and Community
Development, the Agency operates a total of 176 seasonal farm labor units. These
units are located at two (2) Labor Centers: one
in Arvin and one in Shafter. The Centers are open for approximately six (6) months each year, from April to
October. Residents must be seasonal farm laborers whose permanent residence is
at least 50 miles away from the Center.
