EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE COUNTY OF KERN EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION
The Housing Authority of the County of Kern will make reasonable accommodation for the disabled. Once an offer of employment has been made, you may be required to pass a medical and/or physical exam, including drug and alcohol testing. The cost of the examination is paid by the Housing Authority. Candidates are cautioned not to quit or give notice to present employers until the medical examination has been completed and passed.
It is the responsibility of all applicants and eligibles to promptly advise the Personnel Officer of changes in name, address, or telephone number.

It accomplishes this goal by administering rental-housing programs such as Low-Income Public Housing, Section 8, USDA housing for agricultural workers, and Office of Migrant Services seasonal housing, as well as programs designed to assist low-income families become home owners.
