7.    How Can I Save on Electricity & Gas? 

Use gas & electricity wisely:

1. Turn off lights when  not in use.  Keep light bulbs clean. 
2. Shut-off the TV set, radio, or stereo when not in use. 
3. In cold weather, dress warmly in your home.
4. Open window coverings on the sunny side of your home during the day for solar energy.
5. Close window coverings on cloudy days or in the evening (after the sun sets).
6. Use cold water in your washing machine and wash a full load.
