The Investigations Department The Investigations Department primary duty is to investigate fraud. With thousands of people on the waiting list for housing assistance, we want to make sure the help only goes to those who are eligible. We aggressively pursue the prosecution and restitution of fraud cases. We also conduct Investigations on potential program violations such as, but not limited to: unauthorized tenants in your residence, gang activity and, drug activity.
